Camping Trips & Drop Camps

Colorado camping may be a little different than what you're used to. With mountain trails that reach over 12,000 feet in elevation, many are not prepared for just how difficult it can be to reach their campsite.

Drop Camps

Let us pack you into the high country, setup your camp and pick you up the next day. Our guide, along with a pack horse carrying your camping equipment, will lead you to your high country destination. Your guide will return the next day with horses for your ride back down the mountain.

Overnight Pack Trips

Another unique experience in the Rockies is a multiple-night pack in trip. You supply your own camping equipment and we will provide you with horses and a guide to get you to and from your camping destination. We can drop you off for a couple days, then return to bring you and your gear out on horseback. Our gentle horses will allow families with young children to reach these gorgeous destinations that would otherwise be inaccessible.
